When someone applies through PastaHR, PastaHR’s own privacy policy does not apply, the privacy policy of the respective company does. This page explains where that policy is published and how candidates give their consent during the application process.

Which privacy policy applies

For an application, the privacy policy of the respective company applies, not PastaHR’s.
Your organisation is responsible for the content and accuracy of your own privacy policy. PastaHR provides the technical basis on which it can be viewed and confirmed.

Where the privacy policy is published

The privacy policy is published at pastahr.io/legal/[CUSTOMER]. We set up this link individually for every organisation so that the currently valid version is always available there, together with the PastaHR terms of use. When consent happens depends on which channel someone applies through.
Candidates confirm the privacy policy with a checkbox before being redirected to WhatsApp. If the application happens on desktop, consent instead applies once the first message is sent in WhatsApp.Whether this redirect page with the checkbox is shown is set under Settings > Organisation > General, via the Enable WhatsApp privacy page toggle. When enabled, candidates on mobile devices accept the privacy policy before being redirected to the WhatsApp chat.

Privacy policy template

PastaHR can provide you with a template for the privacy policy. Responsibility for filling it in and for its content lies with you as the customer.
