PastaHR’s weekly insights feature delivers a curated summary of your most important recruiting metrics directly to your inbox once a week. Instead of remembering to check your dashboard, you get a concise email every week showing how your pipeline is developing, a quick pulse check on applications, conversions, and other key indicators with no manual effort. A simple way to stay on top of your hiring activity, whether you’re actively recruiting or going through a quieter period.

What’s Included in the Weekly Email

Every weekly insights email summarises the most important numbers from the last seven days. The report is designed so you can scan it in under two minutes and know exactly how your recruiting is going.

New Applications

A count of all new applications received across your active job postings in the past week.

Pipeline Movement

A summary of how many candidates moved between stages: forward, backward, or to a final outcome such as hired or rejected.

Conversion Highlights

Key conversion rate data showing how effectively your pipeline converted candidates at each stage during the week.

Top Application Sources

A snapshot of which channels generated the most applications over the past seven days.

Enabling Weekly Insights

Weekly insights emails are managed by a PastaHR Admin in your organisation. An Admin can add any email address to the distribution list for the weekly send.

Open Settings

Click Settings in the left sidebar.

Navigate to Notifications

Click Notifications in Settings. This is where all email notification preferences, including the weekly insights distribution list, are managed.

Add Email Addresses

Locate the Weekly Insights field and enter the email addresses that should receive the weekly summary. You can add multiple addresses.

Save Your Changes

Save your changes. Recipients will be included in the next scheduled weekly send.
If you don’t have Admin access in PastaHR, ask an Admin on your team to add your email address to the Weekly Insights distribution list under Settings → Notifications.

Who Should Receive Weekly Insights

If you manage one or more active job postings, weekly insights give you a regular rhythm to check whether applications are coming in at the expected rate and whether candidates are progressing through your pipeline. A simple way to spot slowdowns early, without needing to log into PastaHR every day.
If you’re running a high-volume recruiting campaign, weekly insights can serve as a lightweight status report for stakeholders who want visibility without needing direct access to PastaHR.

Removing Recipients

To stop sending the weekly summary to a specific email address, a PastaHR Admin should go back to Settings → Notifications, remove the address from the Weekly Insights field, and save the changes. That person will no longer receive the weekly email starting with the following send.
