# JobFit and AI Summary in Your ATS

> What PastaHR writes to your ATS, what it looks like and how to set it up.

PastaHR automatically writes the [JobFit](https://docs.pastahr.com/en/recruiters/ai-screening.md) result and the [AI summary](https://docs.pastahr.com/en/recruiters/ai-summaries.md) to your ATS. Recruiters see who fits and why in their usual overview, without switching systems.

## What is sent to the ATS

| Content | Example | Purpose |
| - | - | - |
| **JobFit score** | `A (95) 🟢 Super Fit` | Sortable. The best candidates appear at the top. |
| **JobFit criteria** | `✅ German skills • ❓ Part-time workload (Nice-to-have) • ❌ Retail experience (Must-have)` | See at a glance which criteria are met. |
| **AI summary** | Short profile, relevant experience | Context for recruiters and hiring managers. |
| **JobFit report (PDF)** | Rationale and sources per criterion | Traceability, like the [PDF download](https://docs.pastahr.com/en/recruiters/ai-screening.md#traceability) in PastaHR. |

All fields are set up per customer, because every ATS is configured differently. The setup happens in your ATS; afterwards you let PastaHR know which fields you use.

## Details per ATS

**SAP SuccessFactors**

### What it looks like

* **Comment (default):** JobFit score, criteria and AI summary appear as a comment on the application.
* **Custom fields:** If the new candidate workbench is active, score and criteria also appear as separate columns in the candidate overview. The score is sortable.
* **JobFit report (PDF):** Placed in an attachment field of the application that candidates can't see, e.g. **General Attachments**.

### Setup

**1. Create fields in the application template**

Create two text fields in the job application template, e.g. `custPastahrJobFit` (score) and `custPastahrJobFitFactors` (criteria).

**2. Set permissions**

The integration user needs write access to both fields, in the status in which new applications arrive.

**3. Show the columns in the workbench**

Add both fields as columns in the candidate overview.

**4. Inform PastaHR**

Send the field IDs to [support@pastahr.com](mailto:support@pastahr.com). We activate the transfer.

**3. Open the grid**

### Fields used

| Field in Umantis | Label (suggestion) | Content |
| - | - | - |
| Bewerbung benutzerdefiniert Text 1 | JobFit | JobFit score |
| Bewerbung benutzerdefiniert Text 2 | AI summary | AI summary |
| Bewerbung benutzerdefiniert Text 3 | JobFit criteria | JobFit criteria |

If these fields are already in use, choose other free text fields and tell us their numbers.

### Setup

You need **admin rights** in Umantis. The menu names below refer to the German Umantis interface.

**1. Enable Ansicht anpassen**

Open any application. Click the gear icon at the top right and select **Ansicht anpassen** (customise view). A gear (edit) and an eye (show/hide) now appear next to every element.

**2. Show the fields in the application detail**

Open the edit dialog of the section where the fields should appear. Click the gear next to **Bewerbung benutzerdefiniert Text 1** and set:

* **Ausblenden** (hide): disable
* **Bezeichnung** (label): e.g. *JobFit* (for all languages)
* **Spezifische Umbenennung** (specific renaming): leave enabled

Click **Speichern** (save) in the dialog. Repeat for **Text 2** (*AI summary*) and **Text 3** (*JobFit criteria*). For Text 2 and Text 3, set **Typ des Eingabefeldes** (input field type) to **TextArea 10Rows** so the full content is visible.

**3. Show the columns in the applicant overview**

Open a job and switch to **Bewerberübersicht** (applicant overview). Show the columns **Bewerbung benutzerdefiniert Text 1** and **Text 3** via the gear and rename them, e.g. *PastaHR JobFit* and *PastaHR JobFit criteria*.

**4. Set the column width**

In the same dialog, set the **Spaltenbreite** (column width) of the criteria column, e.g. `350px`. Without a fixed width the column stays narrow and the rows become very tall.

**5. Drag the columns next to the name**

Drag both columns next to the **Name** column. Hold the mouse button briefly before dragging.

**6. Repeat for the general application list**

Repeat steps 3 to 5 under **Bewerbermanagement → Bewerbungen**.

**7. Disable Ansicht anpassen and inform PastaHR**

Disable **Ansicht anpassen** again via the gear. Let [support@pastahr.com](mailto:support@pastahr.com) know which fields you use.

**Other ATS**

PastaHR integrates with over 60 ATS. What is possible in your system depends on its API. Contact [support@pastahr.com](mailto:support@pastahr.com) and we will work it out with you.
