# Recruiting Insights: Understand Your Pipeline Performance

> Access real-time statistics on applications, conversion rates, and candidate sources to make data-driven improvements to your recruiting process.

PastaHR's statistics dashboard gives you a clear, data-driven view of how your recruiting pipeline is performing. Instead of relying on gut feeling or manual spreadsheet tracking, you can monitor key metrics, from the total number of incoming applications to how effectively each stage converts candidates through to hire. Whether you're a recruiter checking a single job or a talent lead assessing team-wide performance, the dashboard shows the most important numbers in one place.

## Accessing the Dashboard

Statistics are available to all users with the right permissions and are accessible directly from the main navigation.

## Understanding Conversion Rates

Conversion rates are one of the most actionable metrics in your dashboard. They show you exactly where candidates drop off in your process and help you identify stages that may need improvement.

A healthy pipeline typically shows a gradual, predictable funnel: a large number of applicants at the top, narrowing progressively to a smaller number of offers at the bottom. If you notice a sharp drop at a particular stage, it could mean:

* The screening criteria at that stage are too strict (or not strict enough)
* Candidates are losing interest due to slow response times
* A particular interview format is creating a poor candidate experience

<Tip>
  Compare conversion rates across job postings to identify which roles or job descriptions attract the most relevant candidates.

## Application Sources

<Accordion title="What counts as an application source?">
  An application source is the channel through which a candidate first discovered your job and applied. PastaHR tracks sources such as job boards (e.g. LinkedIn, Indeed), your careers page, employee referrals, social media campaigns, and direct outreach.
</Accordion>

<Accordion title="How is source data captured?">
  Source data is captured automatically when candidates apply through tracked links. If you share job postings via UTM-tagged URLs or PastaHR's built-in distribution tools, the source is attributed automatically.
</Accordion>

<Accordion title="Can I compare sources over time?">
  Yes. Use the time period selector in the dashboard to compare source performance across different periods, for example before and after launching a new recruiting marketing campaign.
</Accordion>

<Accordion title="Can I request additional statistics?">
  Yes. If you need metrics beyond what's shown in the dashboard, you can request additional statistics directly from PastaHR.
